Sejak tahun 1998, Festival Film International Oberhausen membuat sebuah program khusus video musik (MuVi Preis) untuk mempertunjukkan video-video musik Jerman dan menjadi festival film internasional pertama yang menerima video musik sebagai ekspresi seni tersendiri, bukan sekadar ilustrasi dan iklan (promosional) musik. Video musik di Oberhausen tidak dinilai dari musiknya, melainkan dari aspek visual atau filmisnya. Lebih jauh, Oberhausen melihat bahwa sebagai bagian dari kebudayaan massa, video musik dianggap varian dari gerakan garda depan (avant-garde).



Experimentelle Deutsch-Indonesische Musikvideos merupakan pameran pertama yang memadukan video musik Jerman dan Indonesia yang berangkat dari gagasan Oberhausen. Pameran akan menampilkan 31 karya video musik eksperimental yang merupakan hasil kurasi dari Festival Film Oberhausen sejak tahun 1998 hingga 2007 yang terkemas dalam program Zur Rettung Der Popkultur: Experimentelle Deutsche Musikvideos 1998-2003 dan 2003-2007. Dari Indonesia, pameran menghadirkan 17 video musik terpilih yang diproduksi dari tahun 2002-2009. Pameran akan didahului sebuah diskusi bersama artis video dan kurator dari Indonesia.

Menghadirkan video musik Indonesia antara lain dari Seringai, Naif,
Lain, Tetty Kadi, Rock n Roll Mafia, Cozy Street Corner, Teknoshit, OK

September 28th, 2010 marks the release date of Jimmy Eat World's highly anticipated new album, Invented. Recorded in Tempe, Arizona at the band's Unit 2 studio, Jimmy Eat World reunited with Mark Trombino, the producer on the band's breakthrough album, Bleed American, and their seminal earlier albums, Static Prevails and Clarity. "We're very excited about Invented," said lead singer and guitarist Jim Adkins, "it was great reconnecting and creating an album with Mark Trombino, we can't wait for our fans to hear it." Fans will get their first taste of Invented when the first single "My Best Theory" hits the airwaves in August. Jimmy Eat World has a stellar history across Modern Rock radio with five top 10 hits.

Invented marks the band's first studio album since 2007's Chase This Light which landed Jimmy Eat World's highest chart position of their career at #5 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart.
