Jenny Gabrielsson Mare - "The Black Lodge"

Kodacrome - Modern Man (free download)
Kodacrome-ModernMan by kodacrome
Kodacrome is Elissa Pociask (Elissa P., San Francisco) and Ryan Casey (KaeoFLUX, Brooklyn). Elissa designs energetic, interwoven pop melodies with haphazard structures, layered vocals, and mean lyrics. Ryan builds rich, textured soundscapes which can fall anywhere in between delicate and grimy. By means of a very natural spirit of teamwork, the two form thoughtfully crafted pieces, easy on the head and heavy on the pretty. After spending the past year working remotely from opposite coasts, and traveling almost monthly to play shows, Elissa and Ryan plan to lock themselves in a Massachusetts cabin all summer to focus on Kodacrome. Stay tuned for a sea of show dates in the summer and fall. (copied from the press release)

A free single. yeah.
What's better than a couple of free songs from my current favorite pop band from Sweden?
a download link at Sincerely Yours that include two of their new songs.
And what can be better then?
a news that they'll come to Asia.
finger crossed.

Noisettes - Ever Fallen in Love With Someone You Shouldn't've
Earlier a few days ago we post the video of the Raveonettes covering the classic Stone Roses song. And still in the same event of celebrating 50 years of Dr. Martens, and to showing the spirits of the legendary boots, they also invite Noisettes (one of my favorite band) to covering a classic song by Buzzcocks.
enjoy.
