Kodacrome is Elissa Pociask (Elissa P., San Francisco) and Ryan Casey (KaeoFLUX, Brooklyn). Elissa designs energetic, interwoven pop melodies with haphazard structures, layered vocals, and mean lyrics. Ryan builds rich, textured soundscapes which can fall anywhere in between delicate and grimy. By means of a very natural spirit of teamwork, the two form thoughtfully crafted pieces, easy on the head and heavy on the pretty. After spending the past year working remotely from opposite coasts, and traveling almost monthly to play shows, Elissa and Ryan plan to lock themselves in a Massachusetts cabin all summer to focus on Kodacrome.
