The Very Most + The Hermit Crabs = Baffin Island

Eardrums the nice music blog from Norway, have a great project by asking some of their favorites indie bands from everywhere to do collaboration, that resulting in very-very unpredictably cool pop songs.

Download the song by Baffin Island here.

and here are what they said about the project
We're making a new free compilation here at Eardrums, and this one is a collaboration compilation, where all songs are made as collaborations between bands. All songs and projects are made especially for the "Between Two Waves"-compilation.
The full 3 volume, 39 song album will be released as a digital download on our netlabel EardrumsPop mid April.
Today we made the second single from the album available for download, and you can get it from
http://www.eardrumspop.com/mp3s/

This song is from the project BAFFIN ISLAND, which is a collab between Glasgow, Scotland's THE HERMIT CRABS and THE VERY MOST from Boise, Idaho, USA. The name Baffin Island refers to the exact midpoint between Boise and Glasgow. If you like scot pop a'la Camera Obscura, this song is close.

The first "single" we made available a couple of weeks ago is from Jacob Borshard (USA) and Helena Sundin/Cake on Cake (Sweden). A sweet, summery indiepop-song with boy/girl vocals. The two never met during the collaboration, so everything is done by fileswapping and lots of emails.
Both songs are available for free from the address above.
