Michael Paulo is no stranger for the jazz lovers who are also the loyal followers of Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival. This saxophonist is the artist in residence for one of the world's largest jazz festivals. Michael Paulo came into prominence as a smooth jazz saxophonist during the late 70's. Renowned jazz musicians, including Al Jarreau, Olleta Adams, Jeff Lorber, Jeffrey Osborne, David Benoit and Rick Braun, have invited Michael to collaborate with them. His saxophone-playing is rich in harmony and impressive. Songs from Michael Paulo's solo album have held various spots at the "Top Ten Hit" of "Contemporary Jazz/NAC Chart" and "Billboard's Contemporary Jazz Chart".
